Complexity theory

Complexity Theory is a relatively new scientific school based on another philosophic foundation than classic science theory. Different from the Cartesian tradition emphasizing study of each part in a system, parts of a whole are always perceived together in complexity theory. Instead of studying isolated cause-effect mechanisms, the object of study is patterns (simple and complex) and mutual dependency within systems and sub-systems.
